Parent’s Day Celebration– May and June 2011
At this time of year the Washington County Department of Social Services’ Child Support Unit has an annual tradition to celebrate Mothers’ and Fathers’ Days by acknowledging the custodial and non-custodial parents who faithfully provide support for their children. Our local office will be recognizing those parents on Monday, May 9 and Monday, June 20 in the Child Support Lobby (east entrance of 122 North Potomac Street). Refreshments will be provided on both days and customers will have an opportunity to enter into prize drawings. Customers will also have the opportunity to review informational resources about child support services. A billboard, located on Route 40 East, will recognize responsible custodial and non-custodial parents during the months of May and June.
