Maryland Department of Human Services Announces Move to New Downtown Baltimore City Building

BALTIMORE, MD — The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS), the state’s primary social services provider, is relocating its statewide administrative offices from 311 West Saratoga Street, to a modern space that will allow the department to better serve Marylanders.

Our new office address is:

25 S. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21201

All other DHS contact information, including phone numbers and email addresses, are unchanged.

“The move to this new office location reflects our commitment to providing world class customer service to Marylanders. They deserve nothing less,” said Maryland Department of Human Services Secretary Rafael López. “This modern space reflects and honors the work our team leads to serve more than 1 million Marylanders each year. We are grateful to the Governor for helping us all raise the bar of excellence and to the Maryland Department of General Services for their extensive support during this transition.”

Starting July 1, all mail, deliveries and other correspondence may be sent to the new office location.

The building at 25 S. Charles St. is easily accessible from the Charles Street Metro subway station and several CityLink bus Routes. Visitor parking is available on site; there are garage entrances on Charles and St. Paul Streets. Baltimore City residents are encouraged to call 1-800-332-6347, or visit the nearest Department of Social Services or Child Support office where they live for direct customer assistance.
