The Queen Anne’s County Department of Social Services Child Support Division recently received “Gold Medal” recognition for being the only Child Support office in the State of Maryland to achieve “Gold Medal” status in the establishment of child support orders. The “Gold Medal” is based on a nationwide ranking of performance. The Department of Human Resources is committed to bringing Maryland in to the ranks of the top 10 states nationally and the Queen Anne’s Department of Social Services is well on their way having also finished the 2012 Federal Fiscal year with a “bronze” in the 3 other performance measurements of Establishing Paternity, Collection of Current Support and Collection of Arrears (past due support).
