DHS Launches New Interactive Data Dashboards to Enhance Transparency and Accountability for Services to Children and Families
Baltimore, MD — The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) launched live, interactive data dashboards on March 7 as part of its ongoing push to increase transparency, accountability, and efficiency in serving Maryland’s children and families.
Located on the DHS website, the Family Investment Administration (FIA) Dashboard offers insights into multiple programs across local jurisdictions. The dashboard provides up-to-date information on the number of applicants actively receiving benefits through various FIA programs, including:
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- Cash Assistance
- Medical Assistance
- Long-Term Care
- Waiver Programs
The FIA dashboard also allows users to filter data by program and jurisdiction, offering a detailed view of service distribution across the state.
